Do you really know Jesus Christ?
His sheep know His voice.

Jesus opens His arms to bring peace and safety to all. Luke 4:18, Is. 61:1-3

Jesus does not care what you have done in the past. He just beckons “COME!”
All who are heavy laden and I will give you rest. He came anointed to preach good
tidings unto the meek; to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives,
and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of
the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto
them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil joy for mourning, the
garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness,
the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

 

Do I want to know Jesus? Do I want to go to Heaven and not go to Hell?
Then …..
Admit your need of Jesus and that you have sinned. The Bible says in Romans 3:23 “For all have
sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Picture Jesus Christ in front of you with His arms
opened wide for you to come to Him. Psalms 34:18 says,” The Lord is nigh unto them that are of
a broken heart; and saves such as be of a contrite spirit.”

 

Pray to Jesus just like you would talk to a good friend.
Here is an example of a way to pray.

“Jesus, I am coming to You just as I am with all my sins and problems. You said in the Bible to confess my sins and You will forgive me and cleanse me of all my sins. I confess to you now--- (Name as many sins as you can think of)” (This is called repenting of your sins.)
"I ask You to forgive me and wash me clean with the precious, life giving blood of Jesus Christ. Take all my sins away. Your Word says “Jesus took all my sin upon Himself and died for me on the cross. And I believe that Jesus was raised from the dead and is alive forever more. Jesus, I ask You to come inside me and live forever. I invite You into my life right now. Fill me with Your Spirit.” (Now begin to thank Him for His forgiveness) Thank you, Father, for cleansing me of my sins. I love you and want all that you have for me. Thank you for your love and mercy. I ask these things in Jesus Name.
